Attleboro Schools 2026 End-of-Year Calendar Changes

Due to weather-related school cancellations, the end-of-year calendar has been adjusted to ensure all students meet their required instructional days and hours. Please note these dates are subject to change if additional days need to be made up. The updated last days of school are listed below.

Grades 1–11: June 26 (Early Release)

Kindergarten: June 12

Preschool: June 23 (AM & PM Sessions)

PTO Meeting Update:
Tonight's PTO Meeting will be held -VIRTUAL ONLY- due to the impending weather.

Links were shared in a previous email/notification to families. Please use that link to join us!

We hope you can join us for our upcoming PTO meeting. This Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at 6pm - HFES Library. If you can't join us in person, please feel free to join us virtually. The meeting link will be shared via Rooms and Email on the day of the event.

Kindergarten Information Night: Do you know anyone with school age children ready for Kindergarten for next year? The Attleboro Public Schools is pleased to host Kindergarten Information Night on March 5, 2026, at 6PM. This evening provides families with information on how to enroll a student in Kindergarten for the 2026-2027 school year. Early Learning Center parents should attend to receive information for the next steps in the ELC to Kindergarten process. This week is Read Across America Week! Each day is a fun themed day to help us celebrate the joy of books and stories!

Monday – Read Across America!- Wear something red, white, or blue.
Tuesday – Wonderful Words! -Wear something with words on it.
Wednesday – Book Character Day!- Dress like a favorite book character or wear something related to a book you love.
Thursday – Stuffed Animal Day!- Bring a stuffed animal to read to.
Friday – Hats Off to Reading!- Wear a hat and Hawk Hero spirit wear.

We can’t wait to see everyone participate and celebrate the power and joy of reading together! 📚✨

We were so happy to see our students and staff back at school- even if it was just for one day. It was a great day filled with lots of smiles, hugs and lots of great learning! A nice way to ease back into things after such a long time apart!

We are looking forward to welcoming everyone back to school tomorrow, Friday, February 27th as we return from our extended February break. We hope that everyone was able to stay safe during this historic blizzard.

We can't wait to see everyone and wanted to share just a few reminders as we venture out and navigate the aftermath of all the snow!

Please take extreme caution if you drive your child to or from school tomorrow, not only out on the roads but here on our campus. We ask for everyone's patience and understanding.

If your child takes a bus, van or school transportation, please be patient as we may experience delays for pickup and drop off times.

We invite your students to dress "Comfy Cozy" as we had initially planned for on Monday. We hope tomorrow will help ease us all back to our regular routines.

Safe travels and we'll see you tomorrow!

Remember there is NO SCHOOL next week. We welcome students back to school on Monday, February 23rd. Please enjoy a restful break.

Tomorrow is Spot Day as we Celebrate the 101st Day of school.

Due to the snow the start of school will be delayed by two hours today, Wednesday, February 11. This means that doors will open at 10:30am. Dismissal will still be at 3:25pm. Lunch will still be served for all.
Please expect your bus pickup to arrive two hours from its normally scheduled time (+/- 10 minutes).

Don't forget that Friday, February 13th is an early release day. Students will be dismissed at 12:25pm. We also invite students to dress in red, pink, white or hearts in celebration of Valentine's Day!
