Don't forget, Wednesday, November 12th is Picture Retake Day!
If your student was absent on our original picture day or you are looking to have your student's photo retaken- they will have the opportunity to do this on Wednesday. If you were looking to retake photograph- please send in your student's photo package to school for a retake.

Just a reminder that there is NO SCHOOL on Tuesday, November 11th in observance of Veteran's Day.

We are currently experiencing an issue with our automated attendance calls today, October 31. As a result, you may not receive a call if your child is marked absent this morning.

Thank you for your understanding as we work to resolve the issue.

Don't forget about our Fall Spirit Day- Friday, October 31

We welcome students to wear costumes on our Fall Spirit Day, Friday, October 31. Please remember that costumes need to be put on at home and need to be easy to walk in and sit in, to participate in regular expectations of the day. No gore, masks or props should be brought in to school (please keep items like wands, swards, brooms etc. at home).

If you would prefer- we also welcome wearing Hyman Fine Gear or Fall Colors if you choose to participate in a different way!

Don't forget! Fall Family–Teacher Conferences are just around the corner!

November 5th from 5:30pm-7:30pm

November 6th from 1:00pm-3:30pm and 4:14pm- 6:15pm (Please remember that November 6th is a half day and students will be dismissed at 12:25pm.

You can sign up for a conference with your child's teacher by visiting our Hyman Fine Conference Portal. Conferences are a wonderful opportunity for families and teachers to connect, celebrate student successes, and discuss goals for the months ahead.

📣 Patriots Spirit Day – Tomorrow! 🏈
Students in grade 2 will participate in an author visit from the New England Patriots to our school — Super Bowl Champion and children's book author- Malcom Mitchell!
To celebrate, we’re inviting all students and staff to wear their Patriots gear or red, white, and blue for a school-wide Patriots Day Spirit Day! ❤️💙🤍

Let’s show our school spirit and give a warm HFES welcome to our guest!

🎃 Hyman Fine Annual Trunk or Treat – This Friday! 👻

Join us for a fun-filled evening for Hyman Fine students and their immediate families!
🗓 Friday, October 17th
🕠 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM

A few reminders to help make the night safe and enjoyable for everyone:
✨ We encourage families to bring flashlights to help with lighting.
🚗 Parking in the lower lot will be closed, as it will be used for trunks.
🚫 Bathrooms will not be available during the event.
👨‍👩‍👧 Please ensure students stay with their families and are supervised at all times.
🍬 Encourage students to take one piece of candy at each trunk to make sure there’s enough for everyone.
📱 Don’t forget to scan the QR codes at the trunks and vote for your favorite!
⏰ The event will end promptly at 7:00 PM.

We can’t wait to see all the creative trunks and costumes — thank you for helping make this event a spooky success! 🎃

One More Week for CANDY WARS! 🍬🍫🍭
We are still collecting candy donations to help support the PTO Trunk or Treat event! The challenge ends on Wednesday, October 15. Please remember- students should not be bringing candy donations in on the bus, but families are welcome to bring donations to school during Thursday's Fall Family Literacy Night.
